sky is the limit

Someone said "sky is the limit" and i drove uphill
the valley was tempting as
her lakes of contentment said that they can quench my thirst
her pastures of mediocrity said that they can satisfy my hunger
as i drove uphill
the road grew arrogant , as her features grew sharper
the light was fading as the valley kept luring me into the bed
but i drove onn
I saw a beautiful damsel draped in white sitting by the road
it seemed i had reached the skies
i put on the brakes, my vision disappeared as my car approached her
but i could see through her and i knew it was just a cloud
so i drove onn as someone said "sky is the limit"
